Samsung over the weekend had put up its first teaser countdown for its much awaited Galaxy S III device. A tweet from the company’s mobile division points readers to the charmingly titled tgeltaayehxnx website — an anagram for “the next galaxy” — where a countdown is teasing “the next step in” for approximately 05 hours and 51 minutes (the last when we noted).

The company just now has unveiled the latest part of its ‘Next Galaxy’ countdown on its smartphone teaser site for which the teaser it is being running of, launching a new video that says customers will stand out from everyone else. The device will includes a 4.6-inch display with a 720 x 1184 pixel resolution (which at 320 PPI is almost exactly that of the iPhone 4/4S), a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 1GB RAM and an 8-megapixel camera. It will run Ice Cream Sandwich, provide 16GB of internal storage, ship with a 2050 mAh battery and provide NFC support. The device is rumoured to be the official Olympic phone.

Vietnamese website Tinhte last week had posted images and video of a new device, the Samsung’s most awaited and soon to be launched Galaxy S III (GT-i9300) on May 3rd in London – but now what we have the confirmation that what the new device is coming with – thanks to Amazon Germany. Later BestBoyZ noticed that a listing for the device appeared on Amazon’s German website, listing a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 12-megapixel camera, and Ice Cream Sandwich. Although only partial information is provided, and it could be simply indicating that a 32GB variant will be available.
