RIM’s Chief Legal Officer Karima Bawa Resigns

We earlier reported that BlackBerry maker preparing for a major global restructuring which is going to start in next couple of weeks. The company plans to lay-off at least 2,000 people across its worldwide operations. But, to add more flurries into in it, Reuters is reporting that the top lawyer Karima Bawa at Research In Motion has resigned and will soon leave the struggling BlackBerry maker, RIM. RIM’s Toronto-listed dropped 0.7 percent at C$11.26 by midday on Monday. The company’s Nasdaq-listed shares were not trading due to a U.S. holiday. There are more firecrackers coming from RIM side in coming days.
