Google today updated its Google Translate app for Android, bringing offline support and vertical text translation. The new update includes the official language package featuring support for 50 languages.
In order to make the use of it, you need to just select “Offline Languages” in the app menu and check on all the offline language packages available for download although to enable offline translation between any of two languages, you need to select them both in the offline languages menu mode itself.
It would certainly be a big move but since the offline models are less comprehensive than their online equivalents, they are perfect for translating the time when you are traveling abroad with poor reception or without mobile data access. So, all you have to do in order to explore another language or another culture, you can download the new version now directly from the Google Play Store.
