Taiwan’s mobile company HTC has reported its Q2 unaudited results. The company reports a 57.8 percent fall in quarterly net profit, which was T$7.4 billion ($247.7 million) for the period between April and June,, and was down from T$17.52 billion in the same period a year earlier. Further, according to a Thompson Reuters I/B/E/S survey of 21 analysts, earnings been expected to drop to T$8.25 billion. The Q2 revenue was T$91billion, while consolidated sales for June were T$30 billion, down 33.4 percent from the same month a year earlier. The company blamed European sales and U.S. sales, which was held up by custom inspections.
