The day the “Internet” collectively stood still – the words really meant a lot if you know why and when such thing happened in the past – I am talking about the January 18 protest – the protest against SOPA and PIPA – the day when hundreds of thousands of websites over on the internet blackout for a day – the list includes the biggies too – name as Google, Wikipedia, Reddit and many others.

Consider the that bills seek to lay full copyright burden on site owners—this means sites unable to police enormous amounts of user generated content, sites like Facebook and Wikipedia, could be subject to infringement charges and government shut down.
