Asus Starts Accepting Pre-Orders For Fonepad In Taiwan

Announced back during the Mobile World Congress 2013, Asus today opened the pre-orders for the Fonepad in Taiwan. The device is a new mobile-connected tablet featuring a new 7-inch 1280 X 800 full HD tablet, weighs just 340 grams and 10.4mm with a battery of up to nine hours on board. It also includes the built-in 3G (HSPA+ support), results in delivering the best of apps and web services.

Asus is working with Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest telecom operator in order to sell the Fonepad. The device will come with a special two-year contract with Chunghwa Telecom to pay NT$1,343 per month ($45 per month) and users can get Fonepad at no extra cost. The time during MWC when the device make its debut, it has been said that the price will starts at $249 for 8GB model and $290 for 16GB version and finally here it is.
