This might be “surprising” news – the tuff between Apple and the little known Taiwanese company Proview move across the Chinese border – yes the legal battle between the two companies over ‘iPad’ trademark move to US – Proview in its new urge launched a legal case against the iPad maker in the United States Californian court, Reuters reports.

Proview is already making it hard for the Cupertino’s based company, suing the Apple in multiple Chinese jurisdictions and even for the worst requested the sales of iPads be suspended across the country – the current dispute was filed last week in Santa Clara County that brings their legal dispute to Silicon Valley.

Yesterday we saw the first time victory for the Apple as Shanghai court has rejected the plead of Proview asking to stop selling the iPads in the city, Proview last week taken the trademark turf to the China’s richest city, Shanghai – the Shanghai’s Pudong New Area People’s Court ruled in favour of Apple after a hearing on Wednesday.

The iPad maker has bought the worldwide rights from Proview Taiwan, including to that of China’s – over on this Proview Shenzhen is stating that they never authorized its Taiwan counterpart to do so, but according to Apple, they have the complete documentation (paperwork) for the trademark, a report which last week we posted showed some compelling evidence clearly states that Apple has allegedly purchased the rights to use the “iPad” trademark in China.
