TBG Digital: Facebook Earns 58% More Per Ad Than Last Year, Sponsored Stories Saw 53% More Engagement Than Standard Ads

Although Facebook still seeing more decline in its stock prices, but what according to the latest quarterly report from ad agency TBG Digital is that the social giant is earning 58% more per ad than previous year, and even mobile ads clicked 4 time more than that of Twitter ads. The report further indicates that cost per thousand impressions (CPMs) on ads on the social network increase by 58 percent compares to the same period last year. Sponsored Stories saw 53 percent more engagement than standard ads.

“Our clients, upon our advice, are now willing to pay more for quality clicks and fans. Focus is shifting toward measurable engagement and the difference Social Media connections are making to their bottom line,” the analysts write. The report also accounted 406 billion impressions that social giant receives from 190 countries and 276 clients. Now, what all awaited is Facebook second quarter results that is on the way, coming on July 26th, 2012.
