The glasses are reported to have on one lens a heads-up display, which is designed to overlay information on a transparent surface – which are something seems to be similar as used by the jet pilots to see elevation and direction information on their cockpit windshields, flashing information and who’s calling or texting on the glasses. It’s likely to run one a version of Android, connecting to the Internet, and even includes a global positioning system and double as a phone.

These glasses to be made of LCDs not active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) technology – as it would be not suited for this kind of functions.  The eyewear could include camera, Wi-Fi and heads-up display as well. Theses glasses would be having I/O on the glasses will also include voice input and output. Theses glasses consist of CPU/RAM/storage hardware like 1GHz ARM A8, 256MB RAM and 8GB of storage.

It is also reported that Microvision and researchers at the University of Washington are also working on the similar kind of project – have demonstrated a prototype contact lens that can receive streaming data wirelessly and contain a single pixel of information.
