Facebook Answers Questions About Home Privacy, Says It Won’t Collect Info From Inside App

Following the yester announcement of Facebook Home, the company has come forward to answer the questions it received about how Home works with privacy. The social giant started by sharing that Home is a software which will turns your Android phone into a great, living, social phone although it will not change anything related to your privacy settings and your privacy controls will work completely the same way as it is always be.

One question was asked that how Facebook will collect the data, the company in return says Home will collect “information when you interact with the service, such as liking or commenting on a post or sending a message.” The company added further that Facebook maintains a list of the apps that you have in the Home app launcher,” while for the devices with Home comes pre-installed, the company will collect information about your system notifications.
