Apple Wins ‘Temporary Rule-Out’ One German iPad, iPhone Sales

In Apple and Motorola legal tug of war in Germany – the Cupertino based company today won a said to be “temporary victory” in its ongoing legal dispute with Motorola Mobility. The Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court of Germany decided that Motorola Mobility is barred from further enforcement of its standard-essential patent injunction against Apple in Germany at least for the duration of the ongoing appeal.

Giving some recap to you, earlier this month we reported that Apple has to removed its older iPhone models, 3G, 3G, UMTS and 4 and iPad all models from its Germany  online store, as a result of an injunction Motorola won in Mannheim over a FRAND-pledged patents declared essential to an industry standard.
