Apple Acquires Anobit, Israel Based Company

Apple today confirmed the reports for its Israel-based flash memory Anobit company acquisition. The company products and technologies are already integrated into Apple’s iPhones and iPads. Steve Dowling, Apple’s spokesman confirms that the acquisition had taken place. He did not disclose the amount of the deal but with the last month’s report, suggest price for Anobit had been around $350-400 million.

Buying Anobit, as Apple plans to sets its development center in Israel focusing on to gain access to its technology, and to boost its chip memory and improving its device reliability. With the acquisition, anobit’s website today went offline and the people going on the company website will be welcomed with a “Service Unavailable” message.
