As we reported a month ago that Samsung is gearing up to “spin off” its unprofitable LCD-making division into a separate, fully-owned subsidiary. The move is now approved by Korean giant shareholders, which means that on April 1st the company new subsidiary will came into effect name as “Samsung Display Co.”, which will manufacture OLED displays.
