Report: Chinese Internet Users Spent About 19 Million Years Or 167 Billion Hours On Social Network In 2012

In an interesting 211-slide report (via The Next Web), it has been revealed that the Chinese internet users spent approximately 19 million years on social media in 2012. The country in last year has saw more than 50 million internet users, bringing its total to 564 million. With talking about other numbers: the country saw over 1.1 billion wireless subscribers in total.

The report further states that a Chinese social media user spent 167 billion hours across various networks in 2012, with an average estimate of 46 minutes per day. This isn’t the first time that such estimates come in front of us, as recently Chinese government projects that the country’s internet population to reach 800 million users in 2015. Well, as of now, we do definitely says that China have a lot in store, all we have to do is wait and see how it grows.
