Google today announced a new feature for Gmail, dubbed as Quick Action Buttons. This new feature will let you RSVP to events, rate restaurants, view flights and more. The company says the feature will roll out “over the next few weeks.” To understand better, let’s take an example, you can RSVP to your friend’s party invitation or rate that restaurant you went to last night all right from the inbox. You’ll be checking things off that to-do list in no time.
Similarly for flight confirmation emails, whether you’re frequently up in the air or just the occasional traveller, when you open a flight confirmation email in Gmail, all the important information about your flight will be displayed right at the top, giving you details on whether your flight is on time, connections and more – no need for doing any kind of scrolling at all.
