Facebook Introduces The Facebook Card, Rolling Out ‘Gradually’ For US Users

With Facebook already beats street estimated with revenues of $1.59 billion, the company moving a step further now has introduced the Facebook Cards. Starting with rolling out “gradually” for US users, the social giant claims that “Facebook Cards” is “a new type of gift card,” counting on Facebook Gifts product, counting on Jamba Juice, Olive Garden, Sephora and Target as launch partners.

What makes these card a future perfect is that this cards are reusable card and will work across different merchants but its important to hold separate balance for different merchants. For example, you might have gift balances of $100 at Sephora, $75 at Target, $50 at Olive Garden, and $8.25 at Jamba Juice. Facebook will let you know when balances change by sending a real-time notification to your phone. You can view your gift balances in your account settings on Facebook from your phone or desktop.
