Come Mid-July, Yahoo Will Reset IDs Inactive For Past 12 Months, Avail For Users Again

Yahoo today announced that on July 15 it will give all its users to sign up for the Yahoo ID that they have always wanted. Say, for example, if you like to have a short, sweet and memorable like albert@yahoo.com ID instead of albert9330399@yahoo.com, then with the update you will get it. Even, your new Yahoo ID is not only your email address, but it also gives you an access to content tailored to your interests, like if you are sports enthusiast, then you will get sports score and so on.

In order to have these Yahoo IDs available to you, the company freeing up IDs which have been inactive for at least 12 months, by resetting them and offering them as a fresh start. In mid July, anyone can have a chance to get the any Yahoo ID they want while in mid August, users who have staked a claim on certain IDs can come to Yahoo and can discover which one they have got.
