HTC CEO Admits Marketing Failures Did In 2012, Says ‘The Worst For HTC Has Probably Passed’

With HTC CEO Peter Chou interview with The Wall Street Journal, he has admitted that the company made blenders in terms of its marketing efforts in the year 2012, and said now the company completely optimistic about 2013, and planning to spend more on marketing saying that “the worst for HTC has probably passed.”

“Our competitors were too strong and very resourceful, pouring in lots of money into marketing. We haven’t done enough on the marketing front,” Chou said. While on counting the credits, Chou did say, “The most important thing is to have unique products that appeal to consumers,” on noting on that the company does not have any kind of money to counter its bigger competitors.
