Report: Apple Files For ‘iWatch’ Trademark In Russia, Taking It A Step Closer As Compared To Its Rivals

Although almost every second top brand is working towards development of iWatch, along with Apple, including Samsung, Google, LG and Microsoft, but with today’s news take Apple a step closer in this iWatch race. CNET via 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple has filed for ‘iWatch’ trademark in Russia. The news indicates that Apple’s iWatch is just round the corner and first official news also makes a mark anytime now.

Local newspaper Izvestia reported Wednesday that Apple filed for the trademark with the Rospatent, Russia’s patent and trademark office. The news turned out to make a huge sight for Apple’s rivals who are working on iWatch as with this the Cupertino-giant come a step closer. Even, the earlier report suggests that Apple’s iWatch to run on iOS and will be more profitable than its TV business unit. Well, now the entire wait is when the company make this product debut in market.
