With earlier report suggested that a 100-person team working on Apple’s iWatch, Bloomberg brings some more major insight stating that Apple’s watch will run iOS and arrive later this year. The publication revealed that Apple design chief Jony Ive love the project so much and had reportedly ordered “boxes” of Nike Sports Watches to study before digging into the project.

“The global watch industry will generate more than $60 billion in sales in 2013,” according to the Citigroup analyst Oliver Chen. “This can be a $6 billion opportunity for Apple, with plenty of opportunity for upside if they create something totally new like they did with the iPod — something consumers didn’t even knows they needed.”

In short the predictions are quite high that Apple’s iWatch could be more profitable than TV project. Stay tuned with us and we will bring more updates.
