Microsoft Updates The World With Xbox 360 Color Problem

Microsoft updates the world with mentioning that the company is aware of the color space issue w/ some Xbox video apps and is working on its fixture. The company last updated about Xbox 360 to its users in December brought with a problem with color output for some.

The company’s Xbox division, Director of Programming, Larry Hyrb, tweeted about the issue. The problem might be looks smaller in nature, but it looks company wondered it that it’s important enough to address.

The new dashboard released in December to upgrade the service to its new Metro user interface also forces video content to run at limited range color (RGB) levels. The result is that colors are washed out, with blacks becoming more like a gray color. It isn’t clear yet how widespread this problem is, Digital Foundry said.
