Intel-powered Android smartphone named YOLO made its debut in Africa on Kenyan network Safaricom. The new device featured a 3.5-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA+ modem support. The device aimed at first-time Kenyan buyers and will be priced at Kshs. 10,999 comes with 500MB of free data, available through country-wide Safaricom stores.
The device powered by an Intel Atom Z2420 processor, and complete with an Intel’s Hyper Threading Technology boosting the higher processing speed of up to 1.2GHz. The phone will support FM Radio comes along with Intel’s XMM 6265 model for global roaming. The device supports an aforementioned camera having “advanced imaging capabilities” equipped with a burst mode producing seven pictures per second.
