The social giant today reportedly updated its Antivirus (AV) Marketplace by adding the support for seven new languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Portuguese. Launched April last year, since then the marketplace was expanded to seven new partners, including AVG, avast!, Avira, Kaspersky, Panda, Total Defense and Webroot while initially it hit the web with Microsoft, McAfee, TrendMicro, Sophos and Symantec.

The AV Facebook Marketplace will be accessible from the Facebook Security Page, or directly at http://on.fb.me/FBAVMarketplace, people will be able to select a free download from one of our anti-virus partners. Further it is still not clear that how many exactly its partners will be updating their antivirus products in all seven languages, but we will keep you updated as soon as more information comes at pace.
