Facebook Unveils Partner Categories, Improves Ad Targeting By Using Third-Party Data

Facebook today unveiled a new way to target ads to more categories of people by introducing Partner categories which in turn will utilizes data from several third-party services, including Acxiom (enterprise data and analytics), Datalogix (a digital media and offline purchasing data service), and Epsilon (direct-to-consumer marketing).

Further the Partner Categories will give the freedom to show ads to people on Facebook based on the products and brands across both desktop and mobile. Also, this will let the advertisers knows the size of audience you are looking for, although it can’t access any of information about individuals included in a category.
