Microsoft’s Skype announced today that it is now handling over 2 billion minutes of connections each day. Isn’t something big the company is declaring today, but no doubt – on one and more aspect it do deserves to be like that – after all Skype knows for catering a lot real people on daily basis than anyone offering similar service.

Skype compared the 2 billion minutes with moon travelling, saying that much time will constitute the round trip from and to moon over 225 thousand times, even further one can walk around Earth more than 845 times or travel to Mars more than 5,400 times. Comparing more, 2 billion minutes is more than 33 million hours of people singing, laughing, joking and staying in touch. That means 1,388,000 days of togetherness.
