Microsoft Shows Off Apps, Games And Disclose The Big Number That Windows Phone Marketplace Now Having 100,000 Apps

Microsoft at today event just showed off some of the new apps as well as games for the new platform. These include Gameloft’s Nova 3 and Asphalt 7, plus Fairway Solitaire. There’s also a new app for audiobook service Audible, which is available today in the Marketplace. Nokia Music has been upgraded to version 3.0, with a number of radio and offline playback enhancements. Camera Extras is an app, built with Scalado and Company Hub is a new app for enterprise users.

Talking about the games, the tech giant revealed that two of Zynga’s most popular games, Draw Something and Word With Friends, are coming to Windows Phone devices soon. While the biggest numbers Microsoft revealed that Windows Phone Marketplace has now over 100,000 applications. The software giant revealed the news during its Windows Phone Summit today in San Francisco.
