LinkedIn Surpassed The One Million Professional Member Milestone In Indonesia, Growing Faster Than Facebook In The Country

The world’s largest professional network site, LinkedIn announced today that it had surpassed the one million professional member milestones in Indonesia – the site has added new users at a faster than Facebook in the country and also reportedly having more than 150 million members worldwide and over 25 million members in Asia Pacific – the announcement comes a little over the launch of LinkedIn’s Bahasa Indonesia language – the country’s official language – which according to the company is its ongoing commitment to improving user experience – since the launch, the site has seen doubled the group to over 700 groups.

“Indonesia is an important market for us where we see a huge potential for growth. Two months after the launch of the local language site, this is a significant milestone for us that demonstrate that professionals in Indonesia are interested in building their online brand on LinkedIn,” said Clifford Rosenberg, Managing Director of LinkedIn Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
