Thanks to the newly formed duo partnership between Lenovo and IT vendor ECS ICT for distributing Lenovo’s handsets in the country for the first time, reports ZDNET. ECS ICT in a press release Thursday said that it has signed a distribution agreement with Lenovo’s country unit and will distribute two of its Android Jellybean-powered smartphone models – the S890 and P770 – in the country.
Foo Sen Chin, managing director at ECS ICT, in prepared statements: “We are pleased to be appointed as the first to distribute one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands into the Malaysian market. Lenovo is already a leading player in the China market and is now keen on translating its success on the international stage.”
