It would be surprising as well as interesting for some to know that Apple was seriously considering hardware keyboard for iPhone. Yes I just said hardware keyboard but this is not me who is saying this but this is revealed by Tony Fadell who during an interview On The Verge tonight bring this interesting revelation comes out. He said there were three different versions: an “iPod + Phone,” a different iteration that was called the “iPhone,” and finally, the device that was ultimately introduced back in January of 2007. Fadell worked on the iPhone up until the 3GS — and was involved with a whopping 18 generations of the iPod line before starting Nest.
