According to statistics published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) – via DigiTimes – China phone manufacturing saw a growth of 3.4% on year-on-year basis, with producing a total of 621 million handsets units in total during January 2012 to July 2012. The other data in the statistics revealed that the country saw a 4.3% year-on-year growth in notebooks production with making a total to 126.8 million units, while other PCs types include 54.27 million units. The LCD TVs production totals 57.196 million units, PDP TVs totals 1.050 million units, monitors totals 71.611 million units while Digital cameras makes a total of 44.784 million units.
