Google’s Android slow adoption rate continues, as nothing but this is what to believe through Google’s updated Platform Version webpage for Android. Google now having around total of 25.8 percent of Android users are on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), while only 2.7 percent of Android users are now on version 4.1 Jelly Bean. But, interesting is that about 53.9 percent of users still using Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Furthermore, third place is still held by Android 2.2 (Froyo), with 12.0 percent share. Possibility is that adoption of new Android versions being slow because the updates are rolling out very slowly, the time it reaches the market only then the real version comes into picture.
