Acer Unveils ICONIA W510 And W700 Windows 8 Tablets

As expected, Acer unveiled two of its newest Windows 8 tablet: ICONIA W510 and ICONIA W700 at Computex, Taipei.  W510 most attracting part is its tri-mode, allowing users to touch, type and view. The tablet further features a detachable keyboard dock which can be connected to the tablet for optimal typing and for extending the battery life up to 18 hours whereas rotating the tablet 295 degrees allows it to be used in presentation mode. W510 has Always On, Always Connect technology, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. It will cost your pocket $799 when it becomes available.

Talking about Acer’s ICONIA W700, the tablet features a multipurpose cradle that allows for several viewing options. It can be tilted up to 70 degrees for better viewing, or 20 degrees for convenient touch. The tablet features three USB 3.0 ports for expansion and is equipped with an 11.6-inch Full HD touchscreen as well as Dolby Home Theater. The W700 will come at a price of $999 and will also have an optional keyboard when it hits shelves.
