As reported earlier that Google is preparing for its own branded 7-inch Android tablet, with Asus hardware on board. The rumors now building up that the tablet features, quad-core Tetra 3 processor from Nvidia, running at 1.3GHz, along with an Nvidia ULP GeForce GPU that powers the 1,280×768 screen. It was running Android 4.1 JRN51B (Jelly Bean). Google might launch the Nexus 7 at its upcoming I/O conference starting on June 27, and that should no doubt help app development for this Nexus and other Android tablets. The search giant expected to achieve total shipments of 2-2.5 million units in 2012. The company says still has a chance to be a serious player in the slate race, unlike its lackluster experience with nexus smart phones.
