Twitter announced Wednesday via its own official Twitter page that it priced its initial public offering at $26 per share. The price range which was been expected while the company plans to sell 70 million shares out of total of 545 million outstanding shares.
The micro-blogging giant revealed back in September that it had filed for the offering while it released its S-1 form publicly only in early October. It is expected that the company will raise $1.82 billion from the offering.
Twitter will ring the New York Stock Exchange opening bell on Thursday and will trade under the TWTR symbol.
