Twitter Introduces Lead Generation Cards, Will Capture User Interest

Twitter today introduced the Lead Generation Card, a whole new expandable tweet format which lets users bring rich experiences and useful tools to users within an expanded Tweet. The Card will make the life easy for users who can now express interest more easily on what all your brand offers. With this, now users need not to leave Twitter and they can easily and securely share their email address with a business.


When a user expands your Tweet, a description comes in front of them containing the offer and a call to action. Their name, @username, and email address are already pre-filled within the Card although the user simply clicks a button to send this information directly (and securely) to you. The Lead Generation Card will only be available to our managed clients while it will be launch globally and to small- and medium-sized businesses soon.
