The vacation season is closer than most of us think! Spring break has already started with thousands of students swarming the south. Many universities opt for southern states while some go even further down, with spring break adventures bound for Jamaica, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and similar exotic paradises.

If you’re in the first group, then Florida is perhaps as exotic as you can get! The southern jewel of the US is the crown location for alcohol-driven spring break parties. However, The Sunshine State is slowly becoming the go-to location for family vacations too… And we’re not even talking about spring and summer only. Florida is slowly becoming a year-long tourist destination, delivering entertainment and unique experiences like never before.

Whatever your travel/vacation case may be, one thing is certain – Florida will provide you with an amazing adventure!

Why Should You Visit Florida This Year

There’s no nitpicking when it comes to reasons for visiting Florida. Let’s face it – there’s a ton of them. The one that’s topping the charts is obviously the beach life. Beaches, beaches, beaches – palm trees, tiki bars, and everything!

Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville are the biggest urban areas, but there are plenty of awesome sightseeing locations in rural locations too. Florida definitely has its fair share of charm, and if you haven’t visited it yet, now’s your chance!

With that in mind, here are three additional things to factor in if you’re planning a trip to The Sunshine State:

Theme Parks

Planning a family trip, but you’re still missing the final piece of the adventure puzzle – the location? Worry not, young padawans, because we got just what you need! Do you guys love theme parks? Come on, of course you do! Heck, even if you don’t, your little ones will be obsessed once they find out Orlando is the world’s theme park capital!

Prepare a ton of money, though, as theme parks (especially those infested with mice) usually cost a fortune. Walt Disney’s World Resort, SeaWorld, Legoland, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are just some of many popular theme parks in Orlando. There are numerous themes at your disposal, and it’s up to you to decide which ones you’ll treat your children to.

Online Gambling Thrills

Even though Florida isn’t known for its casino scene, Floridians will tell you otherwise. Sure, people don’t come to Florida to gamble their worries away; that’s what Las Vegas is for… But people tend to get sick and tired of continuous parties and alcohol intake, and if there’s one thing that goes well after a night of chaotic partying, it’s gambling!

Florida online casinos to the rescue! Why online casinos, you might wonder. Why not simply go to the nearest brick and mortar location and do your thing? Well, even though Florida does have some forms of brick and mortar casinos, they are heavily limited. On the bright side, you can always use online casinos, which are, indeed, legal in Florida. Just make sure you use one that won’t deceive you and take your money!

Summertime Nightlife Madness

Yep – you saw this one coming, didn’t you?! Nightlife in Florida has become a massive hit, driven by Spring Break tourism Florida; it’s been revitalized and looking stronger than ever. Even though tourists adore the Sunshine State for its beaches, waves, and palm trees, there’s an ever-increasing number of young people looking to party. Whether we’re talking about tiki bars in the Keys, Miami’s prestigious, high-life night bars, or good old pubs in St. Augustine, chances are everyone will find their cup of tea in Florida. There’s an abundance of unique bar styles, atmospheres, and music choices, especially in Miami, which has developed into the center of nightlife in FL. South Beach doesn’t fail to deliver either, with its fancy ultra-lounges and dance clubs… Long story short, Florida has something for everyone!
