Sony’s New A57 Camera Pictured Alongside With The Top SAL500F40G Lens

Sony’s latest to add in its DSLR series, the new A57 DSLR camera should be taking some more time to make its debut, launching next month, but if you wish to explore the camera more by yourself, Engadget China taken a few of the test shots with the camera and even tried out Sony’s 500mm F/4 super telephoto lens, the SAL500F40G.

The new model features the ISO to 16000 with the shooting range of 12 frames per second. There are improvements to the 15-point autofocus system, which also includes enhanced object-tracking and quick AF in Full HD movie mode. The A57 comes with a 16-megapixel APS HD CMOS sensor, recording the video at 1920 X 1080 video at 60p, 60i and 24p/25p. Talking about the price, the camera will comes at $699 for the body only at the time when it goes on sale next month – it will also be offered as kit for $799 with an 18-55mm lens.
