SAP Reports Q2 2012 Results: Software Revenues Was €1,059 Million, IFRS Earnings Per Share €0.55

As expected, SAP announced its second quarter 2012 results with software revenue increased 26% to €1,059 Million (about $1.28 billion) driven by double-digit growth in all regions. SAP HANA contributed €85 Million (about $103 million), mobile €54 Million (about $65 million) and cloud €69 Million (about $83 million). The Non-IFRS Software and Software-Related Service revenue increased 21% to €3.14 Billion (about $3.80 billion) while Non-IFRS Operating Profit increased 15% to €1.17 Billion (about $1.41 billion). The Non-IFRS Earnings per share increased 19% to €0.70.

“We reached the upper end of our second quarter software revenue guidance range and were at the mid-point of the software and software-related service revenue guidance range,” said Werner Brandt, CFO of SAP. “With this momentum in the first half of 2012 and our focused commitment to operational excellence we are on track to deliver on our targets for the full-year 2012 – in line with our 2015 goals.”
