Panasonic Sends 100,000 LEDs Down Tokyo River To Mark Hotary Festival More Brighter, Resembles Fireflies

To make the inaugural Tokyo Hotary festival more brighter which was held last weekend, Panasonic sends 100,000 LEDs down to Tokyo River – in order to made resemble hotaru (the fireflies) – that floated down the Sumida River through central Tokyo. Dubbed “prayer stars,” the LEDs were designed to light up upon contact with water, were 100% powered by solar energy.
