The Finnish mobile giant is in the total urge to create something in order to compete against Apple’s iPad. Nokia’s design chief Marko Ahtisaari is spending third of his time on creating a tablet for the company, he said in an interview with Finnish magazine Kauppalehti Optio – reported via Reuters.
Whereas Nokia’s Chief Executive Stephen Elop stated that, “the new category would be interesting for the Finnish company”. Nokia is widely expected to launch an own company branded tablet using Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system by the year end.
