The first possibility pointed by [Google translated] Taiwanese site Apple.pro that the next iPod Nano would have camera surfaced last April – which was then follower up in May when a more finished version showed up in photos. Now the site is back with even more possible evidence of what looks to be a more completed model.
An Apple late 2009 patent application also indicated that the company has an interest in equipping the current iPod Nano design along with a camera. What it looks like is that the Nano would keep similar overall design it has had from the past two years – but with the camera now protruding from the back. It also show up a metal flap will have a hole cut in it that makes the camera lens flush with the portion. It is still somehow unclear that design is still in play or not – but still the images are new and would be a scrapped prototype for all we know at this point.
