Beauty

Beauty products are not the invention of modern age. Since the dawn of time, women have used many beauty products to enhance the beauty of their skin, hair and nails. Truth is, only healthy body can be a beautiful body, and all the products used throughout history, as diverse as they have been, had one thing in common – they were healthy, even more so than many beauty products we use today.
In this article we will see how you can use two natural ingredients in your beauty care.
These two ingredients are baking soda and castor oil.

Baking soda

You probably already have baking soda in your house, since its range of applications is really wide. In addition to being used for cooking and baking, it is being increasingly used as a drug, but also as a natural beauty product.

Face cleaning

Baking soda can be used in skin care as a facial cleanser. To do this, you’ll need to use two teaspoons of baking soda and one teaspoon of warm water. Mix baking soda with water to get a paste.

Rinse your face with warm water and apply this paste – rub it into the skin with gentle, circular motions, and after a few minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Apply this once per week, or twice per week if your skin is very sensitive.

Detoxifying bath is the perfect way to get rid of toxins from the body and regenerate and restore natural shine of your tired skin. For detoxifying bath, fill your bathtub and add approximately 130 g of baking soda and 130 g of Epsom salts (also known as magnesium sulfate). Relax and enjoy this healthy bath for approximately half an hour.

Nail cleaning

Baking soda can also be used to cleanse your nails and remove any fungal infections on them. In order to clean your nails, sprinkle a little baking soda directly on the nail and scrub well with the help of a brush. For the treatment of fungal infections of the nails, it is necessary to mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon water.

The resulting paste should be applied to the infected nail and the surrounding area. Once you’ve done this, let it dry for about 10 minutes. The procedure should be repeated 2-3 times a day, until you remove the infection.

Acne problems

If you have acne problems, baking soda is an excellent natural remedy to treat the acne. For this treatment you will need one tablespoon of baking soda and warm water to obtain a paste. After you have thoroughly washed your face, apply the resulting paste and leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse your face with lukewarm water.

Teeth whitening

You can also make a natural toothpaste for teeth whitening. You will need an ordinary toothpaste and baking soda, as well as a  tape made of aluminum foil. Take the aluminum foil, apply a mixture of your tooth paste and baking soda, and leave the tape on your teeth. Leave the tape on your teeth for one hour, and repeat this process twice a week. After the treatment, it is necessary to rinse your teeth and you’ll soon notice that your teeth are getting whiter.

Castor oil

Other than baking soda, there is one more product that can be used in beauty care and most people are unaware of it – it’s castor oil.
Just like baking soda (and pretty much any natural ingredient), castor oil can be used in various ways to boost your beauty. Read on to discover how you can apply it in your beauty care.

Skin care

Castor oil moisturizes your skin, and due to the high proportion of vitamin E helps with various skin diseases such as fungal infections. It is excellent as a disinfectant for minor skin injuries (cuts, punctures, cuts …). Direct application to an open wound antimicrobial effect and reduces itching and pain.

To apply it, wash your face with warm water (without soap) than put a few drops of castor oil on your fingers, apply it on your face like you would apply a skin cream and after approximately half a minute, wash your face again, this time with soap, and rinse it. However, don’t apply it every day, once or twice per week should be enough.

Hair care

Using castor oil as a hair care product will improve the texture of your hair and accelerate hair growth. Castor oil is considered as the best natural products for stimulating hair growth, even in places where the hair had not grown.

It is great for removing problems with dandruff and regular use of castor oil can repair hair damage caused by chemical treatments (dyed hair, perm, bleaching). It is beneficial for your scalp as well, since it also suffers the consequences of chemical treatments.

It is recommended that you apply to the root of the hair before bedtime. Rub it with gentle moves into the scalp, put a plastic bag on your hair and in the morning wash your hair as usual. Repeat the process until you notice the improvement of the condition of your hair.
