Microsoft today announced the Halo: Spartan Assault, an upcoming title for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The new game will make its debut next month and could be the first halo application for platforms. The company define the game as “unique fusion of touch and console-like controls for easy pick-up-and-play gaming.”
The game is being co-developed by Vanguard Games and 343 Industries and will retail for $6.99 across all platforms it supports. Make sure you do are aware that if the game title purchased for Windows Phone 8, it can’t be played on your PC. This means you will need two copies of the game if you want to play on both platforms.
