There are 100s of languages which are at the risk of extinction, in order to save them; Google today introduced the Endangered Languages Project, a website for people to find and share the most up-to-date and comprehensive information about endangered languages. The project documented more than 3000 languages that are on the verge of extinction.

The project, backed by a new coalition, the Alliance for Linguistic Diversity, give those a chance to preserve languages a place to store and access research, share advice and build collaborations. Further, the interesting part is that a group of collaborators already begun contributing content ranging from 18th-century manuscripts to modern teaching tools like video and audio language samples and knowledge-sharing articles.
