Google has announced the Chrome Beta Channel for phones and tablets for Android 4.0+ devices. The search giant launched the channel in advance of Chrome so as to test out new features and fix issues fast. The new Beta channel for phones and tablets now joins our Beta versions of Chrome for Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS although the company asked straight away to the users that one can expect an early access to new features along with bugs.

In order to download the Chrome Beta channel, you can do it directly via Google Play, as since it is currently in beta version, it will not be available for download through search. The new beta version brings fast JavaScript performance, which brings improved Octane performance benchmark on average by 25 to 30% along with new HTML5 features for developers, including CSS Filters.
