Chrome 29 For Android Released, Brings WebRTC, Improved Scrolling And More

With just a day after Google out with Chrome 29 for desktop, the company announced the release of Chrome 29 for Android, bringing WebRTC, improved scrolling and Web Audio support along with other improvements. You can download the latest version of Chrome for Android directly from Google Play which will be available over the next few days.

The full Chrome 29.0.1547.59 for Android changelog is as follows:

  • WebRTC, an API that enables video and voice communication directly in the browser without a plugin
  • WebAudio, an API that allows developers to process and synthesize audio in web applications
  • Visual indication when scrolling to the top or bottom of a page
  • New color picker user interface for web forms
