Taiwanese computer and now tablet company Asus has reported its third quarter 2012 results today, ended September 30, 2012. The company reported a whooping NT 6.71 billion dollars (about $230 million) in net income on NT 111.43 billion (about $3.8 billion in revenue), which is a nine percent in revenue from the third quarter previous year and a 43 percent jump in net income over the third quarter previous year. “From the Windows 8 products we’ve seen, I’d say Asustek has the most competitive lineup so far,” said Sanford C. Bernstein analyst Alberto Moel. “Their Windows 8 product prices are lower than expected, so we expect them to do well.” The company saw 18 percent more revenue and a 39 percent greater net income as compared to last quarter.
