Apple today introduced the relatively simple two-step verification system for Apple Ids. This is a whole new process where you require verifying yourself at the time of signing on to a new device. Spotted first by 9to5Mac, the process is simple and resembles the likes of those who are using such security practices from quite long time.
In order to set-up this new two-step verification system, you have to visit the Apple ID site and then you need to enter your password and opt for Password and Security. Once you are in, you need to select and enter your security questions, followed by clicking on two-step verification at the top of page. The verification process is currently available in the US, UK, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand while the company says it will roll out soon to the other countries.
