A rumor surrounding the web-o-sphere is that Chinese website Sina Tech – Via Tech In Asia – is reporting that Apple will integrate Baidu’s search function into its iOS mobile operating system, according to “knowledgable sources.” Search engine Baidu’s cloud and mobile chief Li Mingyuan already hinted that what’s cooking during the launch of Baidu’s cloud storage service last week, stating that they already holding an agreement with Apple in China. The implementation would give Safari users on iOS the option of setting Baidu — rather than Google — as their default search engine.
