Apple Announces OS X Mountain Lion Release For Tomorrow, iOS 6 In The Fall

Apple with the announcement of its quarterly results today, confirmed that OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion’s latest version of desktop operating system will make its debut tomorrow via the Mac App Store. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said, “We’ve also just updated the entire MacBook line, will release Mountain Lion tomorrow and will be launching iOS 6 this Fall. We are also really looking forward to the amazing new products we’ve got in the pipeline.” The company announced today its third quarter results with $35 billion in revenues, $9.32 EPS, turning the whole into $8.8 billion in profits. The company although sold 25 million iPhones and 17 million iPads units in the quarter, 4.0 million Macs during the quarter and sold 6.8 million iPods.
